The East Window of York Minster is one of the largest medieval stained glass windows in the world, completed in 1408 by master glazier John Thornton. It measures around 23 metres high and depicts scenes from the Book of Genesis and the Book of Revelation.
The window is known for its detailed craftsmanship and extensive narrative panels, making it one of the most important surviving examples of medieval glass in the UK.
